Corner radius
The chemical-etched parts have rounded-corner
Interior angles (R1) at the simple rectangular shape are about 80% of the thickness, external angles (R0) are about 50% similary.
Please consult with us separately about external angles (R0), as a special process is possible for sharp angles.
Taper dimension
There are two procedures of the chemical etching process, single-face etching and double-face etching. There are differences in the taper shape.
Double-face etching
In case of double-face etching, dimension Ab is equal to about 20% of the thickness.
Single-face etching
In case of single-face etching, dimension Ab is equal to about 30〜40% of the thickness.
